Question:All submitted drawings must be drawn on strong, white, smooth, non-shiny paper
Answer: Drawings submitted to the Office must be made on paper which is flexible, strong, white, smooth, non-shiny, and durable. All sheets must be reasonably free from cracks, creases, and folds. Only one side of the sheet may be used for the drawing.
Question:Is it necessary to go to the USPTO to transact business concerning patent matters?
Answer:
No. Most business with the Office is conducted by written correspondence. Interviews regarding pending applications can be arranged with examiners if necessary and are often helpful.
Question:Are published patents the only content of the Electronic Official Gazette - Patents?
Answer:
No. The eOG:P contains a section called Patent and Trademark Office Notices.
